Say Something

Speak to Jerusalem's Heart, and proclaim over her, her service is complete, her sin is paid off, she took a double-double portion from Hashem's hand. Isaiah 40:2

For Zion's sake, I will not be silent, for Jerusalem's sake, I will not be quiet until her righteousness/vindication goes out like a bright shining light, her salvation like a burning torch.

Isaiah 62:1

And you (Jerusalem) shall be a crown of splendor in Hashem's hand. Isaiah 62:3

On your walls Jerusalem, I have appointed watchmen, all day and all night they will not be silent. You hare the reminders of Hashem, don't be silent for your own sake, and don't give Him a moment to be silent, until He establishes, until He positions/makes her a Praise to the Earth! Isaiah 62:6-7

Today is Jerusalem Day. I will let the verses do the talking, after that it's your turn. You are obligated to say something. Isaiah makes it very clear, that reminding Hashem of Jerusalem's journey to wholeness is a commandment, not a choice.

Her well-being is your well-being.

So if she is in ruins, where are you at? The greater Jerusalem might be stretching out to the left and the right, but her heart is still in ruins. If she heals, you heal.

More than that, universal healing comes because you request her wholeness beyond yourself, for the sake of your loved ones and family.

Again, this is not me trying to be dramatic on this day. Psalms 122 makes it very clear:

Petition for the wholeness of Jerusalem ...(v6)

For the sake of my brothers and my loved ones I will (with deep request) say Shalom (wellbeing) be within you.

(v8)
