Important Dates in ELUL

1st of ELUL: Haggai Prophecy commences (Haggai 1:1-12)* "Stop focusing on your houses - build G-d's House!"

9th of ELUL: Birthday of Dan ben Yaakov.

17th of ELUL: (which falls on Israel's Election Day - no coincidence there!): Spies who slandered the land died.

24th of ELUL:  Second part of Haggai's message (Haggai 1:15 - 9)* G-d reiterates that His Spirit is still in the midst of the Jewish People and that they must be strong and build.

25th of ELUL: 

1) Beginning of Creation

2) Nechemyah (Nehemiah) finished building the walls Jerusalem (52-day period).
